History Atelier Made was founded in 2004 by Joep van der Made. With more than 10 years of experience in all design disciplines, Joep worked for both the cultural and the commercial world. Joep made a variety of designs, at Studio Anthon Beeke, for: the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Theatregroup Amsterdam, Holland Festival, Kunstrai, Design Academy Eindhoven, Gallery de Appel, Joop van den Ende, Royal Capi-Lux, Rotaform, Scheufelen and View on Color. Joep made a contribution in developing the world of the following brands, at VBAT (Visser Bay Anders Toscani): Reaal Group, Postbank, ING Bank, SNS Bank, Interpolis, Pien, Essent, World Travel (BTI), Henzo, Isotis, Holland Casino (Eredivisie-Soccer), Hendrix-UTD, Etos, Campina-Vifit, Super de Boer, Unilever, VBAT and Enterprise IG. Lectureships Joep van der Made taught graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam and at the Royal Academy of Art and Design ’s-Hertogenbosch (nowadays called AKV | St. Joost). Awards/Exhibitions ‘Best Book Design Award ’ Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Nominated for the ‘Lintas Theatre Poster Award’. Exhibition ‘Mooi Maar Goed’ a selection (2 books were selected) out of contempory leading graphic design in the Netherlands... pfhoewie... Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. ‘11-th Annual 3-d illustrators Award Show in New York City, silver award for Art Direction and Design. Honorary member of ABC (Boxing Centre Amsterdam).
